Early Check In

Why check in early at one of the remote locations?
Due to the huge response to Swag Fest, checking in early at one of the remote locations will allow you to simply walk into the event, without having to wait in a check in line that would likely require hours of wait time.  In addition, you will greatly increase your chances of getting a Stephen A. Burroughs chapstick and refrigerator magnet, as these are in limited supply .  Also, 2 fans will be selected , from those who use the early check in process, to have dinner with Stephen A Burroughs, who will come pick them up in a superstretch limo and take them out to dinner.  ONLY fans who use the early check in process, at a remote location, will be eligible to win the dinner and limo give away. 

How do I check in early at a remote location, and what do I need to bring with me?
Simply go to one of the remote locations, during a time that early check in is being held. You will need a photo ID that matches the name used on the RSVP form.  Present your ID and pick up a Swag Fest bracelet.  The Bracelet is your ticket to all Swag Fest activities, so do not lose it.  Nobody will be admitted without a bracelet. 

Where and when will early check in locations be held?

• Barley's in the Old City from 8:30am-12:30pm on Thursday, September 8th.
• Food City on the corner of Kingston Pike & North Peters Road from 4pm-8pm on Thursday, September 8th.
• Knoxville Wholesale Furniture parking lot at intersection of Kingston Pike and Papermill from 8am-1pm on Friday, September 9th.

Can I pick up a bracelet for someone else?
Yes, you may pick up your family and friend’s bracelets, if you RSVP’d on the same form.  You MUST bring a copy (digital or paper) of the confirming email, along with your photo ID, showing you are on the same list as the people for whom you wish to pick up their bracelet.  Also, you may pick up bracelets for others if you are not even on the list, as long as you have a photo ID of one of the people listed on the RSVP confirming email and a copy of the confirmation email as stated above.  However, please make sure that you confirm with everyone that they are in fact planning to attend before you pick up a bracelet for them.

General

Will alcohol be served?
No.  Stephen A Burroughs is all the intoxicant you need.  Further, many people would be in danger of overdose, if we  mixed alcohol with Stephen A Burroughs’ swag.

Where can I park?
There are numerous lots and garages in the area.  Simply look for the signs and flow of traffic.  Many of the nearby hotels also allow non-guests to park in their lots for a fee. 

Will there be food?
Yes, Stephen A Burroughs is providing catered food in the Sunsphere at no charge.  In addition, the Knoxville Convention Center will have concession stands set up to provide concessions for a fee. 

Will there be t-shirts?
Yes, Stephen A Burroughs is providing free t-shirts that can be picked up at the event. 

What ages are welcome?
Stephen A Burroughs  welcomes fans of all ages.  It will be a fun and exciting, but family friendly environment, so bring the entire family, as long as they are on the RSVP list.
